Join in Sharing
Our congregation has a deep and authentic tradition of Caring Fellowship with one another and with the community beyond our walls.
This tradition is reflected in the “Passing of the Peace” during worship, which often becomes an extended greeting of one another and greeting of visitors.
It is also reflected in our “Thoughts and Prayers” list in our weekly bulletins. Included here are not only those in need of spiritual support in our membership but others in the community at large whom we know are in need.
Notably, each member of the Session has a Care Group of congregational members for whom they are responsible to communicate about church activities and to be a point of contact in times of need.
We also join together in sharing through a variety of seasonal congregational meals and activities. Some of these are purely fellowship opportunities within the congregation. Others include an outreach to the wider community.
